1800’s to Today
The Prem Family
Prem Meats was initially founded in the late 1800’s by Michael Prem in a small village in Germany. In 1921, Michael’s son, Joseph, immigrated to the United States, bringing along with him the recipes and craft that we pride ourselves on today. Decades later, Joseph’s son, Bill, wanted to carry along this family tradition of sausage-making by opening the newest edition of Prem Meats in Spring Green, Wisconsin.
